Psalm 34:8
“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.”
Rehobot Kids, how do we know if food is delicious? It could be from its appearance or its fragrant aroma. But the surest way is when we taste it ourselves. After experiencing it, only then do we truly know how good the food is.
It’s the same with God. We know God is good not just from other people’s stories, but because we ourselves have experienced His goodness. God helps us when we are scared, comforts us when we are sad, and protects us every day. If we think about it, there are so many good things God has done for us.
When we have experienced God’s goodness, we also want to share it with others. We can tell stories about God’s help, comfort friends who are sad, or pray for those who are going through difficulties. Just as God helped us, God is also able to help our friends.
Rehobot Kids, God wants more and more people to experience His love and goodness. After we have tasted God’s goodness, it’s now our turn to invite others to know Him too.
Let’s be children who love to share God’s love! Because after we have experienced God’s goodness… maybe “you’re next” to be used by God to bring others closer to Him.
