Unending Joy
John 15:11
“These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.”
One day, Sarah felt sad because her team lost the school’s quiz competition. She had studied very hard. After school, Sarah was still gloomy and disappointed. However, when she prayed and read the Bible that evening, she remembered that God still loved her, whether she won or lost. Slowly, her heart became calm, and she could smile again.
Rehobot Kids, Lord Jesus wants His joy to dwell in our hearts. Joy from God is different from ordinary happiness. Happiness can come and go, but joy from God remains even when we are facing difficulties, disappointments, or failures.
When we are close to God through prayer, reading God’s Word, and obeying Him, God fills our hearts with true joy. That joy becomes a strength that helps us remain thankful and trust in God in all circumstances.
Joy is one of the fruits that God produces in the lives of His children. When our hearts are filled with joy from God, we become stronger, calmer, and can share encouragement with those around us.
Come on, Rehobot Kids, stay close to Lord Jesus every day. Let His joy dwell in our hearts, so that no matter what happens, we will still have hearts full of peace and joy!
