True Wisdom
Psalm 111:10
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have good understanding.”
Rehobot Kids, have you ever seen someone who is very smart? Maybe they are great at math, drawing, or playing games. But did you know there is something even greater than just being smart? It is called wisdom.
Wisdom means knowing what is right and what is wrong, and then choosing to do what is right. And today’s God’s Word teaches us that the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord.
Fearing the Lord does not mean being scared like when we see something frightening. Instead, it means loving and respecting God so much that we do not want to do anything that would make Him sad.
So, Rehobot Kids, let’s learn to have wisdom every day by loving God and choosing to do what is right. When we do that, we become wise children who bring joy to God’s heart.
