Today’s Devotional Title:
The Shepherd Who Takes Care of Me
Psalm 23:4
“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
Hello, Rehobot Kids! Every child has difficult days sometimes. There are moments when we feel sad, scared, or confused about what to do. Sometimes we get scolded by our parents, argue with friends, or feel afraid to try something new. But remember this—when days feel hard, God never leaves us.
The Bible describes God as a good Shepherd. A shepherd always walks with his sheep. When the path is dark or rocky, the shepherd stays close so the sheep will not get lost or fall. That is how God is with us. When life feels scary, God is near and He watches over every step we take.
Even when we still feel afraid, our hearts can stay calm because we know God is with us. Just like sheep feel safe when their shepherd is nearby, we are safe because God faithfully and lovingly takes care of us every day.
God’s Word in Psalm 23:4 reminds us that we do not need to be afraid, because God is always with us. So when you feel sad or scared, remember this: God is your Shepherd. He guides you, protects you, and never lets go of your hand.
Come on, Rehobot Kids, let’s learn to trust God every day. With God, we are always safe, because He takes care of us with His love.
