Rehobot Kids, have you ever received advice from your parents or teachers but refused to listen? Sometimes we feel we already know what is best, so we ignore the guidance given to us. Yet in truth, parents and teachers want to help us avoid mistakes and make the right choices.
God’s Word teaches that those who are willing to accept instruction and correction are walking along the path of life. On the other hand, those who disregard advice may lose their way and face difficulties because of their own decisions. Therefore, learning to listen and accept correction is an important part of our growth.
Rehobot Kids, God uses our parents, teachers, and His Word to guide our lives. When we are willing to listen and obey with a glad heart, God helps us walk in the right way. Let us learn to listen and do what is good with joy, for obedience draws us closer to God and helps us live according to His will.
