The Lord Is My Strength and Shield
Psalm 28:7
“The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him.”
Rehobot Kids, have you ever seen a friend being treated badly? Maybe they were teased, laughed at, or not invited to play. Sometimes we want to help, but we feel afraid—afraid of being teased too or left out by others. That can make us hesitate to do what is right.
But God’s Word reminds us that the Lord is our strength and our shield. That means God gives us the courage to do what is right and protects our hearts from fear. We are not alone when we choose to do good.
Imagine you see a friend sitting alone. Then you come and say, “Hey, let’s play together.” It may seem simple, but it means a lot. You are becoming a tool God uses to bring love and joy to your friend.
When we are brave enough to do what is right, God strengthens us from the inside. He helps us not to be afraid, because we know He is always with us.
So let’s learn to be brave in doing good every day, Rehobot Kids. If you see someone who needs help, don’t hesitate to step in. Remember, God is your strength, and He is always taking care of you.
