Today’s Devotional Title:
The Lord Is My Shield
Psalm 18:30
“As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.”
Rehobot Kids, have you ever felt afraid when facing something new? Maybe when you have to perform in front of the class, try something difficult, or go to a place you’ve never been before. Feeling scared is normal, but you don’t have to face it alone.
God’s Word teaches us that God is our shield. A shield protects and keeps us safe. When we take refuge in God, He gives us courage and strength to face anything.
Imagine a child walking in a dark place with their father. Even though it’s dark, the child is still brave because they know their father is right beside them. That’s how it is with us. When we walk with God, we don’t need to be afraid.
God never leaves us. His promises are always faithful and can be trusted. True strength doesn’t come from ourselves, but from God who protects us at all times.
So let’s learn to rely on God every day, Rehobot Kids. Remember, God is our faithful shield who always protects and strengthens us.
