Thank You, Teacher
Proverbs 22:6
“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn away from it.”
Rehobot Kids, in every school there are teachers who teach their students with a lot of patience. Maybe you even have a favorite teacher you really like. Teachers want their students to become smart—sometimes even smarter than they are! That’s why they train us to be responsible and disciplined, like coming on time and turning in our assignments.
Have you ever thanked God for your teachers? We should be thankful, because God places teachers in our lives to teach, guide, and help kids grow smarter and have good attitudes. Teachers are a real blessing for us.
So how can we show thankfulness for our teachers? One simple way is to listen carefully when they teach in class. Teachers feel happy when they see their students paying attention and understanding the lesson.
We can also respect our teachers by being polite, not making noise in class, and doing our homework seriously. Small actions like these show that we appreciate how hard they work.
Rehobot Kids, let’s learn to be thankful for our teachers. God uses them to shape us into kids who are smart, disciplined, and kind-hearted. Don’t forget to say, “Thank you, Teacher!” today!
