Telling of God’s Love
Psalm 40:10
“I do not hide Your righteousness in my heart; I speak of Your faithfulness and Your saving help. I do not conceal Your love and Your faithfulness from the great assembly.”
Rehobot Kids, have you ever received kindness from someone and then wanted to tell others about it? For example, when a friend helps you or when you get a gift that you really like. Usually we will gladly share that story with other people. It is the same when we experience God’s goodness in our lives.
David said that he did not hide God’s lovingkindness and truth. He wanted to tell many people about all the good things God had done. God also wants us to boldly testify of His love, both through our words and through our daily actions.
Rehobot Kids, when we act honestly, are helpful, obey our parents, and love others, people can see God’s love through our lives. Let us learn not to hide God’s goodness, but to joyfully tell and show His love and faithfulness to those around us.
