Today’s Devotion titled:
Teach Me to Pray

Luke 11:1
“One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”

One day, the disciples saw the Lord Jesus praying. They noticed how Jesus took time to talk to the Father in heaven. After Jesus finished praying, one of the disciples said, “Lord, teach us to pray.” The disciples wanted to learn because they knew that prayer was very important.

Rehobot Kids, prayer is not only done when we need something. We can also pray to express gratitude, share our hearts, praise God, seek wisdom, and entrust all our activities to Him. Through prayer, we learn to know God and build a closer relationship with Him.

God does not seek long prayers or beautiful words. God delights in seeing a sincere heart and a longing to come to Him. Therefore, do not be afraid if you feel you are not good at praying. Keep learning to talk to God every day.

Come on, Rehobot Kids, make it a habit to pray every day. Talk to God when you wake up in the morning, before studying, before sleeping, or whenever you need Him. The more often we pray, the closer our hearts will be to God, and the more we will come to know His love.
