Tama’s Morning Choice
Psalm 112:5
“Good will come to those who are kind and generous, who conduct their affairs fairly.”
One morning on the way to school, Tama saw a friend walking alone with a sad face. For a moment, Tama hesitated. He thought about just staying quiet and walking on. But then Tama remembered that every day, God gives us new chances to do good—even in small ways.
So Tama walked beside his friend and simply said, “Good morning.” He didn’t ask many questions. He just stayed and walked together. Along the way, his friend slowly started to smile and no longer felt alone.
When they arrived at school, the friend said, “Thanks. I was actually feeling really sad earlier.” Tama was surprised, because he felt like he had only done something small. But that day, Tama learned that simple care can bring great comfort.
Psalm 112:5 teaches us that God blesses people who have gentle, compassionate hearts. God can use a simple greeting, our presence, and a caring attitude to help others.
So, Rehobot Kids, let’s start each day with loving hearts. A small greeting and simple attention can become a big blessing for someone else—and it makes God’s heart happy too.
