Today’s devotion title:
Superheroes Aren’t Made in One Day
Romans 8:28
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”
Rehobot Kids, have you ever watched Kung Fu Panda? In that movie, the main character doesn’t become amazing right away. He falls a lot, fails, gets scared, and feels confused. But he keeps going because he believes—and he’s thankful to have friends and a teacher who always support him. In real life, we can go through the same kind of stuff too.
Think about Po, the chubby panda who wants to be a warrior. He keeps tripping up and people think he can’t do anything. But he keeps training, keeps trying, and doesn’t give up. The cool part is, Po learns to be thankful during the whole process, and that’s what makes him stronger. That’s why, in the end, he becomes the awesome Dragon Warrior.
It’s the same for you, Rehobot Kids. Even if you haven’t succeeded yet, that doesn’t mean you’ll fail forever. Actually, through that process, God is shaping you to be stronger, braver, and even better than you can imagine.
So when you face failure, don’t give up right away. That’s a moment where you can learn to be thankful. Thankful because God is still working in your life. Thankful because every process—both the fun parts and the hard parts—is used by God to make your life better and more beautiful.
Think of every failure like “training scenes” in your own life movie. Keep moving forward, keep learning, and keep being thankful. Because God can turn your failures into victories, and He’s forming you into a strong “superhero” together with Him.
