Today’s Devotional Title:
Strong When Weak
Psalm 73:26
“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
One day, Elijah sat under a tree in the wilderness. He felt very tired, afraid, and wanted to give up. After going through many difficult things, he felt like he was not strong enough anymore.
Rehobot Kids, Elijah was God’s prophet, but he was also human. He could feel weak too. God was not angry with him. Instead, God came gently, gave him food, allowed him to rest, and strengthened his heart again.
Today’s Bible verse reminds us that when we are weak, God is still our strength. Maybe we feel tired, sad, or unable to face something. But God never leaves us.
God is our “rock”—a strong and steady place that cannot be shaken. When we rely on Him, we receive new strength to rise again.
Being strong doesn’t mean we are never tired. It means we know where to go when we are weak—running to God. We can pray honestly and tell Him everything we feel.
Rehobot Kids, if today you feel tired or sad, remember this: God is always with you. With God, you will find the strength to stand up again.
