Sharing Is Beautiful
Philippians 4:19
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”
Rehobot Kids, have you ever watched the animated movie Inside Out 2 that’s been trending lately? In the movie, we see how each emotion learns to work together so Riley can grow well. Sometimes one emotion has to make room for another so Riley can learn something new. Sharing is kind of like that—sometimes we need to be willing to give up a little of what we have so others can feel joy and love too.
God reminds us that everything we have comes from Him. That’s why when we share our food, toys, or time to help a friend, we’re showing that we trust God to take care of our needs. We don’t need to be afraid of not having enough, because God knows what we need and He is always faithful to provide for us.
Sharing also helps our hearts become more caring toward others. For example, when a friend doesn’t bring lunch, we can share a little of ours. That simple action can make our friend feel noticed and experience God’s love through our lives.
So let’s get used to sharing, Rehobot Kids—at home, at school, and at church. Remember, sharing isn’t just about giving things, but also about giving attention, smiles, and prayers. Because sharing is beautiful, and through sharing we learn to trust that God will always take care of us.
