Today’s Devotional Title:
Safe in God
Psalm 91:2
“I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’”
Andi and his family had to move to another city, Solo. Andi felt sad because he had to leave his friends in Jakarta. Everything felt new and uncomfortable. His dad was also going through a difficult time because his workplace had closed, so they had to start a new life in a new place.
Even so, Andi’s dad kept trusting God. Their family continued to pray and hope in Him. God’s Word reminds us that He never leaves His children.
After some time, God showed His help. Andi’s dad got a new and better job. Andi and his sibling also found a new school and good friends. God proved that He was truly taking care of them.
Rehobot Kids, from this story we learn that God is our place of safety. When things change or feel difficult, we can still feel secure because God is with us. He never leaves us.
So let’s keep trusting and staying close to God in every situation. Because only in Him do we find true safety.
