Pray with a Sincere Heart
Matthew 6:6
“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
Rehobot Kids, have you ever wanted to be praised for doing something good? Sometimes we can also be tempted to pray to be seen or praised by others. However, Jesus teaches that prayer is not to seek human attention, but to build a close relationship with the Father in heaven.
We can pray anywhere, especially when we have special time with God. Even if no one sees, God always knows the contents of our hearts. He is pleased when we come to Him with a heart that is honest, simple, and full of trust.
God does not judge prayer by the length of the words or the beauty of the sentences we utter. God sees a heart that truly loves Him and longs to live according to His will. A sincere prayer is always precious in God’s sight.
Come on, Rehobot Kids, don’t hesitate to come to God every day. Tell Him everything in your heart, both your joys and your difficulties. God always hears the prayers offered with a sincere heart and enjoys walking with His children.
