Today’s Devotional Title:
New Strength Every Morning
Isaiah 33:2
“Lord, be gracious to us; we long for You. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in times of trouble.”
Every morning before going to school, Jovan always prepares his books and lunch. But that morning felt different. He woke up feeling sad because he got a bad grade. He was afraid his friends would make fun of him and worried he wouldn’t be able to follow the lesson.
At breakfast, Jovan stayed quiet. His mom asked, “Why are you sad?” Jovan told her everything. His mom smiled and said, “My child, every morning God gives us new strength. He will not leave you alone today.” Jovan remembered the Word of God he had learned before. Then he prayed, “God, please help me today. Give me courage and new strength.”
At school, Jovan felt calmer. He was brave enough to ask questions when he didn’t understand and tried to study harder. It turned out his friends didn’t make fun of him. Some of them even helped him.
Rehobot Kids, every morning God gives us new strength. When we feel sad, afraid, or confused, God is our faithful Helper. He takes care of us and stays with us all day.
So let’s start each day with prayer and rely on God. Because with God, every day is full of hope and new strength.
