More Than Just Fun
Proverbs 8:11
“For wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.”
Mia was given some money by her mom to buy a workbook for school. On the way, she saw her favorite ice cream. The colors were bright and it looked very delicious. Mia suddenly wanted to buy it.
She stopped for a moment and thought, “If I buy the ice cream, I’ll be happy now… but I won’t be able to buy the book.” Mia knew what the right choice was. In the end, she chose to buy the book.
The next day, Mia was able to study well. She finished her assignment properly and received praise from her teacher. Mia felt happy—not just for a moment, but for much longer.
Rehobot Kids, wisdom helps us choose what is right, not just what feels good for a moment. So let’s learn to ask God for wisdom, so every choice we make will bring goodness.
