Hello, Rehobot Kids! How are you doing at school? You must be getting to know your classmates better. Are there any friends who like to disturb, play pranks, or break the rules? Usually, the teacher will reprimand the child who makes a mistake so that they learn to do the right thing. The teacher wants all the students to grow up to be good children.
The same goes for God. God loves us, but He is not pleased when we do evil. God longs for us to live honestly, obediently, and to love one another. Therefore, we can pray every day for God to help us choose what is right, even though it is sometimes not easy.
When we truly want to live righteously, God will help us through the Holy Spirit to be able to do what is good. The more we learn to obey God, our hearts will be increasingly filled with peace and joy because we live according to His will.
Come on, Rehobot Kids, make every day an opportunity to please God. Do what is right, obey your parents and teachers, and don’t forget to pray to God. A heart that wants to please God will bring joy, both to ourselves and to those around us.
