Today’s Devotional Title:
Loving Peace
James 3:18
“Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.”
Imagine two groups of children playing together. Suddenly, they start arguing because they both want the same toy. The atmosphere becomes unpleasant. Then another child comes and gently says, “Let’s share and play together.” Soon, they make peace and begin having fun again.
That child who brought peace is like a good farmer planting seeds. He planted seeds of peace that produced good fruit. James 3:18 teaches us that a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. God is pleased when His children are peacemakers, not troublemakers.
Sometimes it is easy to get angry, make fun of others, or always want our own way. These attitudes do not produce good fruit. But when we choose to speak kindly, forgive others, and help friends settle disagreements, we are planting seeds of peace that will grow into a harvest of righteousness.
Rehobot Kids, people who love peace produce good fruit in their lives. Their presence brings calm, joy, and beautiful friendships. Others enjoy being around them because they do not start arguments but instead bring love and peace.
As God’s children, we are called to be peacemakers at home, at school, at church, and wherever we go. Let’s learn to love peace so that our lives will produce fruit that pleases God and becomes a blessing to many people.
