Today’s devotional title:
Love Through Action

1 John 3:18
“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”

“I only have one piece of bread,” Lala whispered during recess. Next to her, Beni looked confused because he had forgotten to bring his lunch. Lala hesitated for a moment. She wanted to eat it herself, but then she remembered the Bible verse she had heard that morning. With a small smile, Lala broke her bread in half and gave one part to Beni. “Let’s eat together,” she said. Beni’s eyes lit up. “Thank you, Lala!”

When she got home, Lala told her dad about what happened. Her dad smiled warmly and said, “God is happy when love isn’t just said, but shown. When you shared, God’s love could be felt by someone else.” Lala felt her heart become light and happy.

The next day, Lala saw one of her friends struggling to tidy up the classroom. Without being asked, she went over to help. Soon the classroom looked neater and felt more cheerful. Lala realized that small actions can make a big difference.

Rehobot Kids, God teaches us to love not only with words, but with actions. When we share our time, energy, and what we have, God’s love becomes real and visible. So let’s show God’s love through simple actions every day, and make the world around us warmer and full of love.
