Livia’s Time
1 Timothy 6:18
“Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.”
Saturday was Livia’s favorite day. She wanted to play games and watch her favorite movies. But that afternoon, her mom asked Livia to help her younger sibling, who was struggling with homework. Livia glanced at the clock and felt disappointed because her playtime would be shorter. She even thought, “This is my time.”
But then Livia remembered that God had already given her so much—family, a home, and the chance to learn. Finally, she sat next to her sibling and helped patiently, even though the same questions were asked again and again. When the homework was finished, her sibling smiled brightly and said, “Thank you, Sis.”
Even though she had less time to play, Livia’s heart felt full and happy. She learned that sharing isn’t always about giving things—it’s also about giving our time, attention, and love.
God’s Word teaches us to do good and to be willing to share. When we are thankful, our hearts aren’t stingy, because we trust that God will always provide.
So, Rehobot Kids, let’s learn to share—not only our belongings, but also our time and attention. Through simple acts like these, God’s love can be felt by others.
