Learning to Listen Is Awesome!
Proverbs 12:15
“The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.”
Kids, have you ever felt like you were completely right about something? Sometimes we think, “I already know how to do it!” But God’s Word teaches us that a wise person is someone who is willing to listen to advice.
Imagine when we cross the street with our parents. They tell us when to stop and when it is safe to walk. If we listen to them, we will stay safe. But if we are stubborn and refuse to listen, we could be in danger.
It’s the same in our daily lives. God gives us parents, teachers, and His Word to help us make the right choices. When we are willing to listen to good advice, we are learning to walk in God’s wisdom.
So, kids, let’s learn to become wise children. Listen to good advice and follow God’s Word so that our steps will always walk in His wisdom.
