Keeping Promises
Proverbs 3:3
“Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.”
One day, Rio promised to help Denis with a group assignment after school. However, other friends invited him to play. Rio really wanted to join them, but he remembered his promise to Denis. In the end, Rio chose to keep his promise and helped Denis finish their assignment. Denis was happy because Rio proved to be a trustworthy friend.
Rehobot Kids, love is not seen only through sweet words. Love is also shown when we are patient, keep our promises, speak the truth, and continue to do good to others. When love and faithfulness dwell in our hearts, our actions will reflect the same.
Being a loving and faithful child means learning to be trustworthy. When we make a promise, we strive to keep it. When a friend needs help, we do not abandon them. Through these simple habits, our character is shaped for the better.
Come on, Rehobot Kids, let’s keep love and faithfulness in our hearts. Let’s show it through our words and actions every day. In this way, our family, friends, and those around us can experience God’s love through our lives.
