Joy Through Wisdom
Proverbs 3:13
“Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding.”
Rehobot Kids, we have learned that a wise heart is a sincere heart—one that is sensitive to God’s heart and willing to do things that bless others. Today’s God’s Word reminds us that those who gain wisdom are truly happy.
Why is that? Because wisdom helps us understand what is right. God’s Word becomes the guide for our steps. Even when difficult things are ahead of us, God’s Word gives us the strength and wisdom to choose the right path.
Besides reading God’s Word, we also need to live a life of prayer. Through prayer, we grow closer to God and learn to understand His heart. In prayer, we don’t only ask for blessings, but we also ask for wisdom and strength to do God’s will.
Rehobot Kids, God often guides us through the advice of our parents, teachers, and spiritual mentors. So don’t get tired of listening to good advice. When we read God’s Word, pray, and listen to wise counsel, we are walking in wisdom and our lives will please God.
