If God Is on Our Side
Romans 8:31
“If God is for us, who can be against us?”
Hello Rehobot Kids! Imagine a tiny ant walking in the forest. Suddenly, a very big elephant walks by. Wow! The ant would probably feel very scared, right? To the ant, the elephant looks like a huge and scary giant.
Now imagine something different. What if the ant climbs onto the elephant’s back? Would it still be afraid of getting stepped on? Of course not! Now the ant is safe and can see everything from a higher place. Things that once looked scary don’t feel so frightening anymore, because the ant is with someone strong.
Rehobot Kids, sometimes we feel like that little ant too. We may feel small and afraid—afraid of not having friends, afraid of tests, afraid of getting scolded, or afraid of doing the right thing. But today’s Bible verse reminds us of something very important: if God is on our side, we don’t need to be afraid. God is much bigger than any problem we face.
When we pray and trust God, it’s like climbing onto God’s “back.” Problems that look big begin to feel smaller, because we know the Almighty God is protecting us and helping us.
Come on, Rehobot Kids, don’t face today alone. Invite God into every step you take. And when fear comes, say with faith,
“God is on my side, so I am not afraid!”
