I Am Precious in God’s Eyes
1 Corinthians 6:19
“Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who lives in you…?”
Rehobot Kids, have you ever felt insecure? Maybe you think you’re not tall enough, not fast enough, not smart enough, or not as good as your friends. Sometimes we compare ourselves to others and forget one super important truth: you are very precious to God. The Bible says your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. That means God Himself lives inside you! Wow—how amazing is that?
If God is willing to live in you, that means you’re not just an ordinary kid. You’re special, valuable, and deeply loved. So we should learn to be thankful for the body God gave us—from head to toe, even the little things we often forget about. Imagine if your hands couldn’t write or your legs couldn’t walk. But today you can play, learn, smile, and run. All of that is a gift from God.
Because our bodies belong to God, we need to take good care of them. It’s simple: eat healthy food, exercise, get enough rest, and—just as important—stop comparing yourself to others. God made every child different on purpose, with a special plan.
Rehobot Kids, remember this: you are very precious in God’s eyes. He created you, takes care of your life, and lives in you. So be thankful and live like a child of God who knows they are loved and valued by Him. Whenever you feel small or not good enough, remember: God lives in you. You are precious and you are special!
