Heart of Faithfulness
Proverbs 3:3–4
“Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.”
Rehobot Kids, have you ever worn your favorite necklace? Usually, we don’t want to take it off because it is special and valuable. Today’s Bible verse says that love and faithfulness should be like a necklace we always wear—close to us and never taken off.
Love means we choose to be kind, patient, and caring toward others. Faithfulness means we choose to do what is right even when no one is watching, and to stay obedient to God, our parents, and our teachers. God wants love and faithfulness not only to be seen on the outside, but also written deep in our hearts.
When we live with love and faithfulness, others can feel it through our actions—through gentle words, willingness to share, courage to say sorry, and keeping our promises. God is pleased when He sees children whose hearts are full of love and faithfulness.
So, Rehobot Kids, today let’s learn to keep love and faithfulness in our hearts. Ask God to help you live each day in a way that pleases Him and becomes a blessing to the people around you.
