Today’s devotion title:
He Is Immanuel

Deuteronomy 31:8
“The Lord Himself will go ahead of you. He will be with you. He will never leave you or abandon you. So don’t be afraid or discouraged.”

Rehobot Kids, have you ever felt scared or nervous when you had to face something new? Like when you’re about to take a test or join a competition. Sometimes your heart starts beating fast and you wonder, “What’s going to happen?”

The people of Israel felt that way too. They were about to enter a new land they had never lived in before. But before it happened, God gave them an amazing promise through Moses: God Himself would walk in front of them. That means they weren’t stepping forward alone, because God was already there ahead of them—right in the place they were going.

So, Rehobot Kids, we also have a big reason to be thankful. Every day God is with us—when we study, when we play, when we’re sad, even when we don’t understand what’s going on. God never leaves us.

So today, let’s learn to say, “Thank You, God,” not only when things feel good, but also when we’re scared or confused. When we choose to be thankful, our hearts feel calmer, and we can see that God is working in the small things and the big things in our lives.

Let’s fill our day with thankfulness, Rehobot Kids! God being with us doesn’t just make us less afraid—it also helps us grow more confident and strong every day.
