God, the One I Can Talk To
Psalm 62:8
“Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge.”
Rehobot Kids, have you ever had a story you really wanted to share but didn’t know who to tell? Or maybe there was something that made you feel sad, scared, or upset, and you kept it inside your heart? God is like a Best Friend who is always ready to listen.
God’s Word tells us that we can pour out our hearts to Him anytime. Morning, afternoon, or night—God is never too busy. You can talk to Him about happy things, disappointing moments, or even things that make you angry or afraid. God listens to everything with love.
God is also our safe place. When you feel sad, God comforts you. When you feel afraid, God calms you. You don’t need to worry about saying the wrong thing or feeling shy, because God loves you very much and knows your heart.
Come on, Rehobot Kids, let’s make it a habit to talk to God through prayer. You can simply say, “Lord Jesus, today I feel…” and tell Him everything. Your heart will feel lighter and more peaceful.
When you talk to God often, you will know that you are never alone. You have an amazing Friend who always listens, protects, and loves you every day.
