God Holds Me Up
Psalm 145:14
“The Lord upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.”
“Aaahhh!” Ani shouted as she slipped on the stairs at home. Hearing that, her dad quickly ran and stretched out his hands to catch her before she fell. Thank God, Ani didn’t fall. Her dad reminded her to be more careful when using the stairs.
Rehobot Kids, God is like Ani’s dad. When we almost “fall” in life—when we feel like we’ve failed, feel sad, or lose our spirit—God does not leave us alone. He holds us up and helps us so we don’t fall deeper.
God lifts us up when our hearts feel down. He gives us new strength, courage to stand again, and hope to keep moving forward. We don’t have to be strong on our own, because God is our source of strength.
So let’s learn to rely on God every day, Rehobot Kids. When we are weak, He makes us strong. When we fall, He lifts us up again. With God, we always have hope.
