God Hears My Prayer
Psalm 17:6
“I call on You, for You answer me, O God; incline Your ear to me, hear my words.”
One afternoon, Sinta was confused because her favorite doll wasn’t in its usual spot. She had looked in her room, in the living room, and even under the bed, but still couldn’t find it. Sinta began to feel sad because the doll was a birthday gift. Finally, she paused and prayed, “Lord Jesus, please help me find my doll. Give me a calm heart.” After praying, Sinta searched again more carefully. It turned out the doll had been left in the reading room. Sinta was grateful that God heard her prayer and helped her stay calm.
Rehobot Kids, we too can speak to God at any time. Whether we are happy, sad, afraid, or confused, we can share everything with Him. God always cares for every child who comes to Him with a sincere heart.
Sometimes, the problems we face aren’t resolved immediately after we pray. However, God grants us peace, courage, wisdom, and strength so we can face them with confidence. God never abandons the children who call out to Him.
Come on, Rehobot Kids, let’s make prayer a daily habit. Speak to God just as you would speak to a Father who loves us dearly. The more often we pray, the closer our relationship with God becomes, and the more we trust in His love and presence.
