God Always Listens
Psalm 66:19
“but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer.”
That night, the electricity in the house suddenly went out. The entire room became dark. Hana, who was getting ready for bed, immediately felt scared. She prayed softly, “Lord Jesus, I’m scared. Please stay with me until the light comes back on.” A few minutes later, Mom came with a candle and hugged Hana. Not long after that, the electricity came back on. Hana felt at ease because she believed God had heard her prayer.
Rehobot Kids, God does not only hear long prayers or those spoken loudly. God hears every prayer that comes from a sincere heart. Even when we pray softly or just in our hearts, God still listens to us with love.
God cares deeply about our every feeling. When we are afraid, sad, confused, or grateful, we can always come to Him. No prayer is too small or too simple for God. He knows each of His children and is always with them.
Come on, Rehobot Kids, make it a habit to talk to God every day. Tell Him everything in your heart, both in joy and sorrow. Believe me, God always listens, always cares, and always accompanies every step of our lives.
