Following the Holy Spirit’s Guidance
Galatians 5:25
“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.”
One day, Kevin saw his friend drop a pencil in the classroom. Some of the other children started laughing at him. For a moment, Kevin felt like joining in. But deep inside, he felt God reminding him to do what was right. So instead of laughing, Kevin picked up the pencil and handed it back to his friend. His friend smiled and said, “Thank you.”
When we follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we choose to do things that please God. The Holy Spirit helps us love others, be patient, show kindness, and do what is right. These qualities are called the Fruit of the Spirit, and they can be seen in our words and actions every day.
Rehobot Kids, when we stay close to God through prayer, reading His Word, and obeying Him, the Holy Spirit guides our steps. He helps us make good choices, even when it is not easy.
So let’s learn to listen to the Holy Spirit’s guidance every day. As we follow Him, our lives will produce good fruit and become a blessing to many people!
