Today’s Devotional Title:
Every Step with God
Psalm 118:14
“The Lord is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation.”
One day, the school held a running race. Damar joined, even though he knew he wasn’t the fastest runner. When the race started, Damar ran with excitement. But halfway through, he began to feel tired. His breathing became heavy, and some of his friends were already far ahead. Damar felt like giving up. His legs felt heavy, and he thought, “I won’t win anyway.”
But then Damar remembered something: God is his strength. In his heart, he prayed, “God, help me.” He didn’t suddenly become the fastest, but he felt a new courage to keep going.
Step by step, Damar kept running until he reached the finish line. He didn’t win first place, but his face was shining with joy. His teacher said, “You didn’t give up. That’s an amazing victory.”
Rehobot Kids, from this story we learn that God gives us strength to keep going, even when we feel tired. True victory is not just about being the best, but about not giving up and continuing to trust God.
So in every step of our lives, let’s learn to walk with God. Because with God, we always have the strength to move forward and reach true victory.
