Choose Your Friends Wisely
Proverbs 13:20
“Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.”
At school, Riko had two groups of friends. One group liked to study, help each other, and be honest. The other group liked to joke around too much, cheat on tests, and make fun of others. During a test, one of his friends whispered, “Just look at my answers.” Riko hesitated because he knew that was wrong.
Rehobot Kids, friends have a big influence on our lives. If we spend time with friends who do what is right, we will be encouraged to do what is right too. But if we keep hanging out with friends who give bad influences, we might be pulled into doing the wrong things.
God’s Word reminds us to choose wise friends. We can still be kind to everyone, but we should be wise about who we follow.
So, Rehobot Kids, ask God to help you choose the right friends and also help you become a good friend to others.
