Being a Blessing to Others
Proverbs 11:30
“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the wise win others over.”
During recess, Clara noticed her friend Siska sitting alone in a corner of the classroom. Siska looked sad because she had forgotten to bring her lunch. While the other children were busy playing, Clara chose to sit beside her and said, “You can share my lunch with me.” Then Clara gladly shared her food.
Siska smiled and quietly said, “Thank you, Clara.” That day, Clara learned that a small act of kindness can bring joy to someone else’s heart. Even though she only shared her lunch, it meant a lot to her friend.
Rehobot Kids, God wants us to be like a tree that produces good fruit. This means our lives can bring joy, help, and encouragement to others. We can do this through kind words, a friendly attitude, and a heart that is willing to help.
A wise child is not only smart but also knows how to love and care for others. When we pay attention to friends who are sad or struggling, we are showing God’s love through our actions.
So let’s learn to be a blessing wherever we are, Rehobot Kids. Through small acts of kindness, we can help others experience God’s love and bring joy to many people!
