Today’s devotion titled:
Bearing Fruit in Every Season

Jeremiah 17:7–8
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. They will be like a tree planted by the water… It never fails to bear fruit.”

Kaleb was a fifth-grade student who felt very sad when he learned that his father needed heart surgery. The situation made Kaleb and his family worried. Even so, they did not stop praying and trusting God. Every day, Kaleb continued to do what was right—helping his mother at home, praying for his father, and placing his hope in the Lord.

The Bible says that people who trust in God are like trees planted beside a stream of water. Such trees stay green and continue to bear fruit, even during hot and dry seasons. The fruit mentioned here is not apples or mangoes, but the fruit of a godly life—faith, patience, love, kindness, and hope in God.

Kaleb learned that even during difficult times, he could still produce good fruit. He chose not to become angry or give up. Instead, he kept praying, trusting God, and encouraging his family. It was during this hard season that his faith and perseverance became even more visible.

Rehobot Kids, sometimes we think we can only be joyful and do good things when everything is going well. But God wants us to bear good fruit in every season of life. When we remain obedient, patient, and trusting in Him during hard times, our lives produce fruit that pleases Him.

So let’s be like a tree planted by the water, Rehobot Kids. Stay close to God every day. Then, no matter what challenges come your way, you will continue to bear good fruit for God and be a blessing to the people around you.
