Today’s devotional titled:
Always with You, Lord

Deuteronomy 31:6
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Hello, Rehobot Kids! Have you ever felt afraid? Maybe you’re afraid of the dark, afraid to sleep alone, afraid to go to a new place, afraid on your first day of school, or afraid to stand in front of others without your parents. Rehobot Kids, feeling afraid is normal. Every child has felt that way before. But did you know? God never leaves us, even when we feel very afraid.

Imagine walking in a dark place. If your dad, mom, or older sibling is holding your hand, you would feel braver, right? Even though the path is dark, you know you are not alone. It’s the same with God. Even though we cannot see God with our eyes, God is always there and walks with us wherever we go.

God’s Word in Deuteronomy 31:6 reminds us that God is faithful and always with us. When you feel afraid or alone, remember that God is near. You can pray a simple prayer like this:
“Lord, I am feeling afraid, but I trust that You are with me. Please help me feel safe and brave.”

Come on, Rehobot Kids, let’s learn to trust God every day. With God, we don’t need to be afraid. God always protects us, strengthens us, and loves us faithfully.
