A Good Tree Bears Good Fruit
Matthew 7:17
“Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit…”

Have you ever seen a fruit tree? Imagine a healthy and strong apple tree. It produces sweet, fresh, and delicious apples. A healthy tree would never produce rotten or poisonous fruit, right?
Well, our hearts are like a tree, and our actions are like its fruit. If our hearts are filled with love, kindness, and honesty, then our actions will also be good and bring joy to others. But if our hearts are filled with anger, jealousy, or dishonesty, our actions will not be pleasing to God or helpful to others.
Jesus teaches us that a good tree produces good fruit. This means that when our hearts stay close to God, our lives will show love, patience, kindness, helpfulness, and good words. Not only will other people be blessed, but God will also be pleased with the way we live.
Rehobot Kids, if we want to do good things, we must first take care of our hearts. We can do this by praying, reading God’s Word, and learning to obey Him every day. When God takes care of our hearts, our lives will produce sweet fruit and become a blessing to many people!
