Sharing God’s Love
1 John 4:11
“ Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.”
One day, Irene brought a box of cakes to school. During recess, she saw her friends enjoying their packed lunches. However, a friend named Tia was just sitting and watching because she had forgotten to bring her lunch. Irene actually really loved the cakes she had brought, but she chose to share them with Tia. They happily enjoyed the cakes together.
Rehobot Kids, we have received such great love from God. Therefore, we should also learn to share that love with the people around us. Love can be shown through simple things, such as sharing, helping, comforting, forgiving, and caring for those in need.
Loving others doesn’t mean we only do good to those who are always kind to us. Sometimes, friends or relatives might upset us. Yet, we can still learn to forgive and not retaliate with bad actions. God will help us have a heart full of love.
Come on, Rehobot Kids, let’s share God’s love with everyone we meet. Start with your family, school friends, and the people around you. Since we have received God’s love, let others experience His love through our words and actions as well.
