Today’s Devotional:
A Loving Friend

Matthew 22:39
“And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”

The Bible tells us about two very close friends: David and Jonathan. Even though Jonathan was King Saul’s son, he loved David and remained a loyal friend. When David was in danger, Jonathan tried to protect and encourage him, always standing by his friend’s side.

Rehobot Kids, a beautiful friendship doesn’t mean never having disagreements or arguments. A good friendship is built on love, care, patience, and a willingness to forgive one another. We can show love through simple things, like speaking politely, sharing, helping a friend in need, or comforting a friend who is sad.

Sometimes, loving a friend isn’t easy. There are friends who might disappoint or upset us. However, God will help us have a heart that is willing to forgive and continue doing good. When we choose to love, we show that God’s love lives within us.

Come on, Rehobot Kids—be a friend who brings love wherever you go. Treat your friends well, just as you would like to be treated. Through your care, patience, and kindness, others can experience God’s love in their lives.
