Love Is Visible
Galatians 5:14
“For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
During recess, Rani saw her friend Siska’s lunchbox fall, spilling rice all over the floor. Siska just sat there silently, holding back tears because she hadn’t brought a spare meal. Without being asked, Rani sat next to Siska and said, “Let’s share our lunch.” Rani split her meal in two. Even though the portions were smaller, they still ate happily.
Rehobot Kids, love isn’t just spoken; it is also shown through actions. When we are willing to share, help a friend in need, comfort someone who is sad, or speak gently, we are showing God’s love to others.
Loving isn’t always easy. Sometimes we feel annoyed, disappointed, or want to retaliate when we are treated poorly. However, God will help us have a heart that is willing to forgive, do good, and keep on loving. The closer we are to God, the more we are empowered to love just as He desires.
Come on, Rehobot Kids, let’s show love through simple things today. Lend a pencil to a friend in need, invite a friend who is alone to play with you, or speak words that build others up. When love is visible through our actions, others can experience God’s love through our lives.
