God’s Love is a Gift
1 John 4:19
“We love because He first loved us.”
Rehobot Kids, yesterday we learned that God loves us very much. God’s love is a beautiful gift for every one of His children. Even before we were born into this world, God already loved us. That is why we, too, can learn to love others. Love makes our hearts gentle, patient, and eager to do good.
Every day, we can show love in simple ways. For example, saying thank you to Mom and Dad, helping the teacher tidy up the classroom, or comforting a friend who is sad. When a friend has no one to play with, we can invite them to join in. Small things like that make others feel loved and valued.
Sometimes, there are friends who make us annoyed or angry. Although it isn’t easy, God wants us to learn to forgive, keep doing good, and love them. When we do this, we are sharing the love that God freely gave to us first.
Come on, Rehobot Kids, remember that love comes from God. The more we know God, the more we want to share His love with everyone. Let’s make today full of smiles, kindness, and love toward our family, friends, and everyone we meet.
