“Therefore let all the faithful pray to You while You may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them.”
Shalom, Rehobot Kids! Have you ever played the voice guessing game? Some people take turns calling your name, but you must not see who is speaking. Your task is to guess who is calling. The child who successfully guesses it is usually the one who knows the person very well because they often talk and spend time together.
Similarly, in spiritual life. The closer we are to God, the more we learn to recognize His voice. Although we may not hear God’s voice directly, God speaks to us through His Word, the Holy Spirit, and advice that aligns with the truth of His Word. Therefore, we need to continually build a close relationship with God.
One way to keep the heart close to God is by praying every day. When we pray, we not only make requests but also learn to listen, trust, and follow God’s will.
