Pray First, Then Act
Luke 6:12
“One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.”
Tomorrow, Riko will participate in a drawing competition at school. He is very happy, but also confused about what to draw. The longer he thinks about it, the more he doesn’t know how to choose the best picture. Then Riko remembered that Jesus always prayed before doing important things. He then bowed his head and prayed, “Lord Jesus, help me choose the best picture.” After praying, Riko got the idea to draw a beautiful landscape.
Rehobot Kids, before doing something, we can also come to God first. When we are about to study, participate in a competition, compete, or make a decision, we can ask for God’s wisdom and help. By doing so, we learn to rely on God, not just our own abilities.
God is pleased when we involve Him in every step of life. Through prayer, our hearts become calmer, our minds clearer, and we learn to choose what is right. God will help us carry out every task and responsibility wisely.
Come on, Rehobot Kids, make it a habit to pray before taking action. Involve God in every plan and decision you make. When we rely on God every day, He will guide us to do things that please Him.
