Today’s Devotion titled:
A Prayer that Pleases God’s Heart

Psalm 141:2
“May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.”

One afternoon, Rena made a greeting card for her mother. She drew colorful flowers and wrote, “Mom, thank you for loving Rena.” When she received the card, Mom smiled widely. Although the card was made from ordinary paper and the drawing was not perfect, Mother was very happy because she knew that the card was made with love.

Rehobot Kids, God is also pleased when we come to Him in prayer. The psalmist said that his prayer is like a fragrant offering to God. It means that a prayer offered with a sincere heart is very precious in His sight. God does not look at whether our prayer is long or uses beautiful words, but God looks at our hearts.

Therefore, let us come to the Lord every day with a sincere heart. Give thanks, praise His name, and tell Him everything we feel. When we pray sincerely, our prayers become like a fragrant offering and please the heart of the Father in heaven. God is always pleased to hear every prayer of the children who love Him.
