Today’s Devotion titled:
Keep Coming to God

Matthew 7:7
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

Shalom, Rehobot Kids! It’s been two days since Mama Anita has been sick, making the house feel very quiet. Anita began to feel anxious and scared. She thought, “What if Mama’s illness lasts a long time? What if Mama has to be hospitalized?” With teary eyes, Anita prayed to God and asked for Mama to be healed soon. After praying, Anita felt calmer because she believed that God was watching over her mother.

Rehobot Kids, praying is not like magic that instantly grants all our wishes. Prayer is our way of talking to God, building a close relationship with Him, and showing that we truly believe in Him. When we are afraid, anxious, or sad, God is always present and never leaves us alone.

In Matthew 7:7, Jesus teaches us to keep asking, seeking, and knocking. It means that we are invited to remain faithful in prayer and trust in God. Although God’s answers do not always come as quickly as we hope or according to our desires, God always provides the best at the right time.

Come on, Rehobot Kids, never stop praying. Tell God everything in your heart, both when you are happy and when you are facing difficulties. Believe, God always hears every prayer of His children and always accompanies them with His love.
