The Peace That Comes With Obedience
Philippians 4:9
“Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”
Rehobot Kids, have you ever felt calm and happy after doing the right thing? For example, when you tell the truth even when it is hard, say sorry when you have done something wrong, or follow your parents’ advice. Even though it is not always easy, your heart will feel at peace because you have done what God teaches.
In Philippians 4:9, the Apostle Paul reminds us to put into practice what we have learned from God’s word. God does not want us only to hear or know His teachings, but also to live them out in our daily lives. When we follow God’s instructions through our attitude, words, and actions, He fills our hearts with true peace.
Rehobot Kids, obedience brings God’s presence into our lives. When we choose to do what is right, God stays with us, strengthens us, and gives us calmness in our hearts. So let us learn to live out God’s word every day. When we walk in obedience, God’s peace will guard our hearts and help us stay strong in every situation.
