Today’s Devotional Title:
Not in Vain

1 Corinthians 15:58
“Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”

Hany was an active child serving in church. Every Sunday, she came earlier to help with the youth ministry. Sometimes, due to her busy schedule between school and ministry, Hany felt very tired. One day, she fell ill, and the doctor advised her to rest for a few days to recover.

While Hany was sick, many friends from church came to visit and pray for her. Hany was touched by their care. She realized that God had been using her ministry to build good relationships with many people. In her prayer, Hany remembered God’s word that labor in the Lord is never in vain.

Rehobot Kids, sometimes we feel tired when doing good things. Maybe we help our parents, study diligently, or serve in church. But God sees every effort we make. Even if the results are not immediately visible, God is using all of it to produce good fruit in our lives and in the lives of others.

When we remain faithful in doing God’s work, we are learning to produce fruit such as love, faithfulness, perseverance, and kindness. These fruits will be a blessing to many. Just as Hany felt the love from her friends, the kindness we sow today can bring joy to others in the future.

Come on, Rehobot Kids, stay enthusiastic about doing good and serving God faithfully. Remember, in God, no effort is in vain. God sees every good deed we do and will use our lives to produce fruit that pleases Him!
